Recent project
A faculty research lab at a Hong Kong university had a stalled website. We fixed what a design review flagged, curated its photo library from 437 images down to 14, built a new programme page from scratch, and got it live.
Umeed Connect
Our own flagship product: a live, multilingual directory of resources, pathways and stories for Hong Kong's ethnically diverse communities, with Chiri, our AI assistant, built in.
- 10 languages across 5 writing systems, including full right-to-left support for Urdu
- Chiri: AI assistant by text (8 languages plus 2 romanised) and voice (8 languages)
- Government notices ingested and translated on a 3-hourly cycle
- WhatsApp broadcast tool, live and in use
Proof
During Typhoon Noul (25-26 July 2026), we published 46 notices in all ten languages, with the median time to live falling to 3.21 hours.
AI Education & Youth Programmes
Workshops, hackathons and AI literacy training we can run for any community, not only the one we already serve: design-thinking for young people, digital-safety and AI-literacy sessions for elderly residents, and everything in between.

Proof
53 participants at our Connect Co-Creation Hackathon (14 & 21 Feb 2026), against a target of 45, plus a residential fire-safety training delivered with the Institute of Leadership and Management Foundation and FirexFire HK.

A GenAI tutor helping non-Chinese speakers learn Chinese at their own pace, built by the same team behind Umeed Connect. Currently in development.
