UMEED
About Umeed

Umeed means
hope.

Umeed means hope in Urdu and Hindi. We are a Hong Kong tech-for-social-good consultancy and solution provider. We advise organisations on technology for social impact, we build and operate our own platforms, and we train young people from the communities we serve.

Most public services in Hong Kong are published in two languages. Hundreds of thousands of residents speak neither at home. We build for them.

How we work

Built with our communities

Every platform we run is shaped by the people who use it. Community members help design the features, young people from the same communities help build them, and partner organisations bring them to the people who need them.
