Umeed Connect

Launched in November 2025 with backing from the SIE Fund and in partnership with MakerBay Foundation (Impact Innovation Lab). Umeed Connect answers everyday questions about jobs, housing, health and education in 8+ languages, through Chiri, an AI assistant that works by text or voice on any phone.

Launched at the
Sikh Temple

On 24 January 2026 we presented Umeed Connect to the congregation at Gurdwara Khalsa Diwan, Hong Kong's Sikh temple. Community members signed up on the spot and told us what they need next. Their advice shapes what we build.
